Spectrum Health
In the fall of 2022, the Williamsville Central School District entered into a partnership with Spectrum Health and Human Services to provide a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) at our high school buildings. The LCMHC rotates between the three schools to provide individual counseling to students who have a mental health diagnosis and who are seeking additional, intensive support.
This successful endeavor has prompted the expansion of this program to our middle school buildings and after school Family Support Center (FSC). The RECOVS grant provides 50% of the funding for the addition of two (2) LCMHC professionals to be shared between four (4) sites and the FSC . One LCMHC will be available to begin services in May, 2024 with a second LCMHC counselor to begin in the fall of 2024.
This document serves as a starting place to provide information to community stakeholders regarding this partnership.
